Between the 15th and 22nd of October, Kopačevo, Croatia was the location where the Organization Metszés.hu from Budapest and the Croatian Democratic Community of Hungarians organized a training entitled „Environmental Aware Youth – Possibilities and Policies of Sustainability”.
30 young peopletook part in this training, from the Carpathian Basin (Croatia, Serbia, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania) .
The aim of the training was to show and and attract the attention of youth to everything that’s happening around them, in their society (complex social and environmental crisis – global world problems). Prepare young people to responsible thinking and behaving, safekeeping the environment, giving all the important theoretical and practical knowledge. Young people participating in the program could gain some interdisciplinary knowledge about Youth in Action Program and methods of working, which can help in organizing similar projects in their countries.
